Douglas K. Weigel
Douglas K. Weigel has been a civil trial lawyer since 1996. He is a partner with Floyd & Pflueger, P.S. and has been with the firm since 1999.
Doug's practice emphasizes the representation of developers, general contractors, and subcontractors for construction site claims, including defect, property damage, professional design liability, personal injury, and fire investigation. Doug's practice also includes representation of veterinarians, insurance brokers, and insurance agents on malpractice claims in both administrative proceedings and litigation.
Doug represents clients insured by St. Paul Travelers, Royal & Sunalliance, Liberty Mutual Group, North Pacific, Utica National, Atlantic Mutual, Zurich and AIG. He is a member of the state and federal courts of Washington and Oregon, and a member of the Defense Research Institute, Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, and Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association.
Doug graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with majors in Environmental Science and Foreign Affairs, and the University of Oregon School of Law in 1995. He was a law clerk from 1995 to 1997 to the Honorable Kip W. Leonard, presiding circuit court judge, in Eugene, Oregon .
Doug is an avid runner and enjoys traveling, mountain biking, downhill skiing, and playing with his dogs.
